Golf Tournament

We held our first annual Golf Tournament on October 7th 2013 at Evergreen Country Club in Haymarket, VA. More than 70 golfers from 15 local businesses participated in the inaugural event. Unfortunately, the weather had other plans and we got rained out, but not until after everyone got thoroughly soaked. As beverage cart sponsor Data Tactics (now Data Tactics L3) became the unsung heroes of the day. We moved the festivities to the club house and did our best to empty the cart. The lunch, silent auction and raffle went off as planned. We were so fortunate to have generous donors who provided some exceptional raffle prizes and auction items.

Special thanks to Evergreen Country Club and member Ed White for hosting our event. We'd also like to recognize Judy Shaw, Theresa Wescott, Sheila Boyd, and Jacob Cohen who coordinated the event and worked hard to make sure everyone had a good time.

We are already planning another golf event for September-October 2014. We will be consulting the Farmer's Almanac for a day without flooding.
