

IROC 2016
ILITE Robotics hosted the ILITE Robotics Offseason Competition at Battlefield High School in Prince William County Virginia on October 23. Over 500 students representing more than thirty-four teams from the quad state area (Virginia, Maryland, DC, Pennsylvania) participated in the event. IROC 2015
On Saturday, October 24, 2015 students rocked the sixth annual ILITE Robotics Off-Season Challenge (IROC). Twenty-three teams with over 400 students from the Virginia-MD-DC region gathered to showcase their robots and replace last season's FIRST® Robotics Competition (FRC) challenge. DC United Robotics Showcase
The US STEM Foundation, Accenture and US FIRST teamed with DC United to host a Robotics Showcase during the DCU vs. Kansas City match on May 9th. Twelve robotics teams from the Maryland, DC, Virginia area participated in the event. The showcase coincided with DC United Youth soccer day. Youth soccer teams played on the pitch prior to the DCU match and then were able to meet with the robotics students and learn more about STEM topics. The Robotics Showcase exposed STEM program

FRC DC Regionals 2015
Team 1885 ILITE Robotics from Battlefield High School participated in the US FIRST Greater DC Regional FRC Competition. More than 40 teams participated in the event. Explorer Post Vex Teams Win at States
Two VEX Robotics teams, the Pineapple Pigs (high school team 6002A) and All About that Base (middle school team 9812C) from The Explorers of Engineering and Technology Post 1882 of Haymarket won the Virginia State VEX Robotics competition on February 21. VEX Robotics, sponsored by the Robotics Education and Competition Foundation, is an engineering based game that allows students with interests in STEM fields to have access to high-quality programs. IROC 2014
The US STEM Foundation subsidized and organized the 2014 ILITE Off-season Robotics Competition. Based on the Spring 2014 US FIRST FRC game, this competition had over 300 students from 17 high schools across three states and district participating. The teams played over 60 qualification rounds. This event serves as a tune-up and introduction to robotics prior to the 2014 season. This year's winners were Team 339 Kilroy Robotics from Stafford/Spotsylvania, VA and Team 612 Chant


ILITE Wins Innovation Award
ILITE Robotics won the prestigious Innovation in Control Award at the US FIRST Robotics Competition Championships in St. Louis, Missouri. The Innovation in Control Award celebrates a system or application of control components – electrical, mechanical or software – to provide unique machine functions. The award has been sponsored by Rockwell Automation since 2007. Rockwell Automation is a proud champion of young people’s interest in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math
